White is Player 2 score: 0 pip: 121 7 point match pip: 135 score: 4 Blue is Player 1 XGID=---BB-CbB---cE-----dbbAb--:1:1:1:62:4:0:0:7:10 Blue to play 62 Timothy: 13/5 is the DMP play but it loses a startling (to me) extra number of gammons. The blot on the 5pt is in more danger of getting picked up than I would have thought. Are you sure it is not the blot left behind on the 22pt that is causing all the gammons? White will hit with all 3s and 10s, creating a nice 4.5- or 5-point board in the process. Entry failure could lead to a closeout rather quickly, and White does not need to hit a second checker in order to win the double game. Mike
