This is one of the many many reasons I would include the clause. I want positions that actually have a chance of arising, no matter how slim, in actual play.

I agree.

Ken’s stated motive is to see how much he gives up when he uses XGR++ as a training tool to evaluate the positions that actually arise in his games. Constructed positions may cause XGR++ to make a large error, but unless are likely to occur in a game or match, they do not help Ken make his judgement.
