I had a really bad experience recently where I cubed something like this and my opp made the aasy take and enter and broke to a 4 prime which, off course I couldn't hop for two rolls, by which time he'd turned the game around and held the cube.

All that bad luck being said, I agree that this is a trivial take and it is likely best to hold onto the cube inspite of White's blot on his ace pt and stripped position.
