You might be right about the present position, that it's a mistake to anchor. However, you wrote:
But the better game plan is to escape ASAP or get an *advanced* anchor.
When we're behind in the race like this, escaping is not typically the best game plan. Also, the chances of getting an advanced anchor are slim when White has already made her 5pt and 3pt. It's true that the mere presence of a lot of enemy checkers in the zone doesn't automatically mean we should anchor up on the 2pt, but here White not only has a lot of checkers in the zone, she also has a pretty strong board, and ours is weaker. So there is definitely some danger of getting attacked if we don't anchor. For this reason I don't believe that your play of making the outfield point is correct. Some countermeasures against White's attacking potential need to be taken—if not anchoring, then strengthening our own board by making the 5pt.
Mr Majestyk pointed out that 24/23 13/10 is a possibility, which I overlooked. I still prefer 24/23 11/8 but 24/23 13/10 does have merits. Once we're anchored we don't necessarily have to play super-safe in our own outfield.
