1) I'd hold here because I have no idea what's going on and would save the cube for a time when I can use it with something approaching confidence. IOW, the volatility of the situation makes me reluctant to give my opponent cube access.

I'd take as white since there's still a lot of game left. I only play matches, so Beavers are not my forte. It might be a beaver. No idea really.

What's the consensus on whether XG or gnu evaluates this strange position correctly?

2) The only thing blue has going is that he's on roll. So I can't see a double, and would beaver this one as it's got to be within a percent or two of 50-50.
