The QF play must be 6/5 6/4, by the "hanged for a sheep rather than a lamb" principle. That is, 6/5 6/4 gains the most if we're not hit, and gives us a chance to make some much-needed structure even if we are hit. Not sure if I'd have had the guts to play such a move OTB though.
