OTB I noticed my gap on the 5pt so I decided to wait, thinking I'll have another opportunity to hit a blot when my board will be stronger.
I didn't realize that I might get in timing problems, thinking I could easily escape from 21pt and be left with 1-3 backgame if necessary.

(Luckily, what happened OTB is that opponent had left me a triple shot trying to bring his last checker in the home board and he had to pass my recube.)
