This is the sort of position I tend to double and also tend to get dinged for doubling. White's position looks ugly but it's not that bad and White has a big race lead. We have to extract the back checkers, and when we do so we could get attacked. On the other hand, we do have a very strong board, so that might swing the balance in favor of a double. With a five-point lead in the match, though, I wouldn't double.

I'm inclined to play 13/12 10/4 regardless of cube position, but I could believe that 13/7 10/9 is better.
