Not sure about the cube. Let’s guess double/take. Blue has many market losers. Thirty numbers hit, most of them on the 1pt. White has a huge racing lead, and will usually get return shots.

I did not see enough nuance to suspect that a different play might be best when a double is upcoming. Since you have given the hint, let’s suppose that breaking the midpoint is wrong when Blue has access to the cube. When Blue has to play the game to conclusion, however, he should do better by splitting the midpoint in order to have better outfield coverage.
