Two other choices seem reasonable: 1. Slot the 18pt, and 2. Slot both the 20pt and 21pt. U = Up (bar/18), which slots the 18pt, seems slightly better to me. Starting both high anchors with V = Variant up (bar/20, 23/21) gives White too many point-on-head numbers that allow him to make a valuable inner-board point at the same time. The choice seems close, however, because slotting both high anchors gives Blue a decent chance to make one of them. Mike
