The pure racing play sent me straight to Burger King were I enjoyed my whopper with fries.

The position is already stretched and disconnected with two checkers anchored on the 24 point and the ace point made, running simply makes matters worse.

White now has complete control over the outfield, is shooting a blot with a 5 using a spare builder. Virtually all rolls leave white a favorite.

Blue does far better creating a 3 point board relinquishing the mid point as he already has two useful blocking points on the 8 and 11. This also creates some duplication on 1's

Getting pointed on is clearly worse for blue but is compensated by more awkward rolls for white where blue gets a shot at the blot on the 11 or makes the anchor on the 20.
