How best to play this poor 54?

My main objective is to get my back checker out and around, so leaving blots to clean up on my side of the board doesn't seem the right idea. This eliminates all the reasonable alternatives except 13/8 6/2 -- not a pretty move, but I'm ahead 26 pips after this play, so playing safe is thematic.
