62S-64X-32 — Nactation Key Family Nactation Traditional Notation Note Anchor @ bar/22, 24/22 Hit H bar/23, 8/5* Point P bar/22, 13/11 For a move to be nactated in the P (Point) family, normally all parts of the roll must be dedicated to making a point. Entering from the bar is an exception. Point p bar/22, 24/22 By the 6pt Convention, holding the 22pt ranks below holding the 11pt. Split S bar/22, 13/11 Hit and split X bar/23, 8/5*
62S-64X-32, 63S-64X-32, 64S-64X-32, and 64S-41X-32 are a contrasting group of related positions. As with 63S-64X-32, making the outside point is better than anchoring in this position, coming out on top in the rollout. Also better than anchoring, is hitting, just as in 63S-64X-32.
This makes a nice constrast with 64S-64X-32, where the duplication of 4s, together with the inability to cover in the outfield, promotes anchoring to the top spot.
