I played the position a few times and 6/3 should be more behind. White has too many ways to destroy blue's timing by playing 4/2 for example in some cases or by forcing blue to hit with a 6 or 5 later at the bear in stage. Therefore, it looks like the game is lost and the more havoc you create to your own board the more you get punished.
