Safe, Semi-safe, or Bold?

Because the race is almost the same for both players and this game is gammon safe for blue...leaving a direct shot on 9 in order to block white's 6s for the next turn is obviously wrong. Moreover, after this movement there are just 13 cover numbers for the blot on 9 which is not sufficient enough. Therefore, you have three reasonable choices here...1)6/3* 2)7/5 7/6 3)7/5 13/12...I wont go for hitting, because it leaves 3 blots on the board and stripping 6pt is poor most of the time. 7/5 7/6 seems good. first of all 7/5 seems mandatory for me because it leaves perfect checker distribution. Secondly, playing 7/6 seems to be fine because after this roll your opponent is slightly ahead in the race ,so the blot on 13 could dominate outfield more than the one on 12. However, 13/12 seems great to me again for its nice distribution...overall both are good 7/5 7/6 , 7/5 13/12
