I messed up this 61. Can you do better?

8/2 can't pass up a 5 point board, you still have all your 5's and 6s to play. As for the 1 as much as I would like to slot in hopes of closing him out, if he rolls that joker 44, game is over. Moving 8/7 seems more the right play to me, 43 hits me but still allows for me to possibly come in and anchor up and stay in the game.
