OK position 2 V position 3 22/13 v 13/7*/4:

In position 2 I'm 4 pips better in the race. If I run black has 3 active builders waiting to attack me on the 22 versus 4 in position 3 so that looks like enough to make running correct in 2 but not in 3

Position 1:

Running 22/11 is far too gammonish so we can rule that out right away.

Timing wise this looks very evenly balanced so I don't think white needs to try anything dramatic and super aggressive like 13/8 13/7 plus I don't think the wins make up for the gammon losses

So that leaves us with:

13/7 9/4, 13/2 and 13/8 9/3

13/2 and 13/8 9/3 create similar positions except 13/8 9/3 leaves one extra shot (but two double shots) but if missed it's the position I would rather have.

13/7 9/4 leaves similar shots but one less blot so I'll go with that

13/7 9/4
