Weird position.
Indeed. This one started getting strange when my opponent rolled this 22 from the bar, and chose to switch off his 6pt.

I would point to the race — it’s nearly a tie — and note that Blue needs the crossover. Blue should try to play safe from here, but if he has to break the 7pt or 8pt as part of a future attack, so be it.
I should not want to argue too strongly however, because the rollout below is very close.
