Weird position. Indeed. This one started getting strange when my opponent rolled this 22 from the bar, and chose to switch off his 6pt. White is Player 2 score: 0 pip: 144 Unlimited Game Jacoby Beaver pip: 146 score: 0 Blue is Player 1 XGID=aA---bDBC---cC-a---bbAbAb-:1:1:-1:22:0:0:3:0:10 White to play 22 As for the spread-or-stack decision, I am not sure that Blue’s subsequent 6s are the reason why stacking with C (Cross) = 17/13 7/6 comes out on top. I would point to the race — it’s nearly a tie — and note that Blue needs the crossover. Blue should try to play safe from here, but if he has to break the 7pt or 8pt as part of a future attack, so be it. I should not want to argue too strongly however, because the rollout below is very close. Mike
