Bar/16 is the automatic play here, just trying to get our checkers around while ahead in the race and staying flexible and connected. What else is there? I don't like hitting because White will almost surely anchor and bring our attack to a halt pretty soon, possibly hitting us back somewhere along the line and catching up in the race. Maybe bar/21 13/8? Looks awkward. Bar/16 it is for me.
