I'm a bit torn between 14/8 and b/18. Having a spare on the 8pt has to be a good thing. On the other hand, if White makes one or more high anchors, all the spares on your forward points could end up essentially out of the game for the foreseeable future. In addition, it's very costly for White to give up his midpoint with so many men back in what he hopes will be a long, positional battle. I'm not at all sure, since the checker on the 14pt is screaming to go to the 8, but I'd play b/18 and look to bring this home slowly.
