I’ll slot the 5pt. That gives us 1, 2, 4, and 5 to make another inside point on the next turn, and is better for the race than making the 1pt. Of course, if we hit a blot on the 13pt next turn, there won't be any dice left for the cover, so making the 1pt now is probably just about as good.
