Old men go out early. Yesterday a baby sitter shop opened about 8.30 and the two young ladies (boss and an employee) spoke before they entered. Boss: Hey, you look beautiful! Nice makeup! I am going to faint! What time did you get up? She meant - I like you, I like you to be beautiful - the way you are, but I expect you to be fresh the next 8 hours! How do I know what she meant? By the answer she got:) Said the employee: Oh, I only got up an hour ago. I only applied a little make up. See my hair is tied "horse tail style", She meant: I did not have time to comb., but I am ready to do the job. In this position I acted as if I wanted someone to see my makeup and "faint" - I played surplus on 6, and 22, points on 21 and 22. And a proud midpoint:) I did not consider enough how am I going to perform the rest of the day... Hence: Horse tail style = no beauty contest, but with a vision for the rest of the day. I overvalued the importance of the midpoint. I did not consider that an 11 point serves as a sustitute for a midpoint and has the additional value of a blocking point.. I knew it is not a backgame yet, but with such a large racing deficit - a holdng game it was for sure and I underestimated the strength of a blocking point 6 away from his backmen.
