I don't think it will ever happen that a human averages below 2,0.

Even the best players have matches where they play 4-5 or even 6+.

It takes an awful lot of 1,5s to make up for 1 match where the player only managed a 5.

However, there are many players who can play below 2,0 on a good day if there are not too many tricky rolls to play in the match. Perhaps this is why you think an average of less than 2 is possible.

I hope someone will prove me wrong in live matches.
