I guess I need to bluff more, by posting more positions with a match score where the score doesn't make a difference. (A lot of positions that I post come from matches that I play against XG, but since for my own study purposes I always start analyzing my blunders by changing to a money game, the positions usually wind up on BGO as money-game problems, unless the score really makes a difference.)
Here I saw that bar/16 was clearly the DMP play because breaking the bar point just gives White too many ways to wriggle out through the broken prime. I wasn't convinced that it won enough gammons to put it ahead, and indeed for money I think that bar/16 is still the way to go (I didn't roll it out). I grossly underestimated how many more gammons 7/3* would win.
