Blue is Player 1XGID=-BABa-EB--aa-B----bbbbbbA-:1:1:1:62:0:0:1:0:10 Blue to play 62 If you minimize shots this turn, by lifting the 7pt, J (Jump) = 7/5 7/1, one of two things will happen. 1. XG will hit, or, 2. XG will miss, and hang back for another turn. The first option is bad, of course, but isn’t the second as well? With only 11 direct covers, and no hope except doublets for clearing the midpoint, Blue will find it impossible to avoid leaving much more dangerous shots in the follow up.
Why not take advantage of the tempo hit, H (Hit) = 13/11* 13/7, in order to try to clear the midpoint now? White could hit with any 2, plus 41, 51, and 65, but if White misses, Blue will have a good chance to clean up, and prevent future hits.
H (Hit) = 13/11* 13/7
