I would play 6/3 4/2, saving the spare on the 8pt to handle awkward rolls.

That said, XG has dinged me a couple of times recently in similar positions, preferring to strip the outside points and leave itself open to blot-forcing rolls next turn. I haven't figured out why and I'll be interested to see if that's the case here.
