1) If you have a roll where one of the diee is a forced move, do you move that and think about how to play the second die?

Yes but I make it very clear that the person needs to be absolutely sure that the move is forced.

2) If you have a roll where you are SURE where you are going to move one die/checker, do you move that and think about the other?

Yes, same as above.

3) If you are a teacher, do you bring up these two issues with your students?

Yes indeed.
