Holding game with crunched board

I don't like tearing up my board in these situations, so I'm looking at which of the outside points to break. Breaking the 10pt allows White to hit and run with a large number. Since the race is up for grabs, I'd prefer he not be able to do both. That pushes me toward 8/3 8/7. If White wasn't about to be forced off the anchor, breaking the 10pt and getting the hardest-to-clear point out of the way would be more attractive. Here, I'll often be able to clear the 10pt after things resolve, so risking the extra shot might not be necessary. That nudges me further toward 8/3 8/7. Finally, holding the 10pt another turn blocks White's 66, which is probably a percent or two swing all by itself.
8/3 8/7
