I believe player B should be given some latitude, he is willing to learn and a general pleasant guy.

In fact, my reason for posting is not for anyone to defend or accuse the involved players.

Just like football, the reaction gets caught by the officials and the inciting action goes relatively unnoticed. But sometimes both players are penalized.
