What's the best play with this bad roll?

The main candidates seem to be 13/7, 8/2, and 7/1*. 13/7 exposes another blot so I don't think it's better than 8/2.
In favor of 7/1* is that it functions as a tempo hit. Black has 16 dancing rolls and we gain time to clean up our blots and cruise home. This play should win more gammons than 8/2. The trouble is that if Black hits back then we're in serious trouble.
In favor of 8/2 is that it keeps our main asset, which is our five prime with Black trapped behind it, not at the edge. It does give Black his full roll to play with, during which he is likely to attack our blots. During the attack he may well have time to roll the 1 and the 6 that he needs to escape his straggler. While we're under attack, many of our moves will be forced or nearly forced, and we may be forced to crack our prime.
Tough decision but I'll go with 8/2, holding the prime. We still have the stronger board so that makes it harder for Black to attack us too freely. During the melee, we gain a lot if we manage to send a second checker behind our five prime.
