"The situation at hand was specifically described as an example of an illegal move. Now, what to do about it? Well, the rules are not clear. Anybody can say "you can't allow an impossible position to remain", but where is that codified in the rules? "

So let's say someone leaves a checker ambiguously just in an outfield away from every point. Do you agree here that you can't allow it to remain like that? Or do you want the checker to move so many inches per dice roll or make up some other rules? Many are seeing the given situation to be like this one.
