I guess since you are on gammon-go here, it's more effective to hit bringing more attack material into the zone than hitting inside and risk losing half a roll if you get hit inside. You'll be unhappy if he anchors (if he anchors while hitting you back in your 4 point you'll be more unhappy), but even if he does, he's got so many blots to clean up you'll probably be sending one or two more checkers back. If he doesn't anchor/dances, then my friend you're ready to release the Kraken.
