There is no safe play, so I put my checkers where I want them to be. 24/15 escapes a checker and guards the outfield. White will have to break his midpoint with most hitting numbers and he won't automatically have slotted a six-prime with a hit like he would if we played a different three. Making our three point doesn't appeal to me either.
