Suppose A is a loop. We said before that we could consider AA a loop. So what about an infinite string of A?

At the risk of turning this thread into an infinite loop, I repeat what I said before:

You mean, can a single iteration of an infinite loop have an infinite number of moves? Surely the answer is obviously no. What are you thinking, that some game runs through an infinite number of moves in a finite amount of time (the first move takes 1/2 a second, the second move takes 1/4 of second, the third move takes 1/8 of a second, etc.) and then starts all over again at the beginning of the next second? It's clear that that such a fanciful scenario is way outside what anybody would reasonably consider to be a "backgammon game."
