It is Monday, but Friday (3-4 moves later) is coming:) If Black does not hit a fly shot and does not run away in the next 3-4 moves, he will probably be cubed efficiently in or out.

White needs to block big doubles, but then his firepower and flexibility will be reduced. Thus he needs to balance between blocking double 66 and 55s (and also staying safe from fly shots) and keeping barage fire on black against escape trial jumps. Here making both blocking points is out of question for the reasons above. The 10 away point (the 12) blocks 64 and 55, but the 12 away point (the 14) blocks only 66 (three times less). Making the 12 with the 14 and landing on the best sniper spot (the midpoint) has the disadvantage of leaving twice as much antijokers as the "ugly" 15/12, 6/4. White needs to tread carefully the next 2-4 moves before shipping the cube.
