I always seem to choose poorly

I fail to see the utility of volunteering a shot with 8/3 8/5 or some similar "clever" play. So, lifting the blot on the 10 seems mandatory. the question is whether to play 10/5 6/3 or 10/7 6/1.

The former will expose a double shot after a roll of 65, so I'll play the latter.

10/7 6/1
