Still an underdog but catching up

Hitting destroys what little timing blue has for his back game. The question is whether blue wants to hold on to the backgame or try to win going forward. I'm not so sure about that, but after hitting all the 5s are ugly, so I'm inclined to play the backgame for another roll. 24/15 gives blue mobility, and if he's hit increases his timing to about 70 pips, which is about the minimum you need for a backgame. If he dances, even better for timing.
What makes me sanguine about the backgame is that white will have a hard time closing both the 7 and the 5, so blue should have good mobility.
24/15 - I'm not wedded to the backgame yet, but there's no more useless spare than a spare on the ace - well maybe a spare on your own ace.
