Someday when there is a Backgammon Hall Of Fame Bill Davis will be part of the 1st class inducted. Though only one of his contributions backgammon, Bill has directed some of the best tournaments of the past three decades. His Midwest Championships (and now the C.S.I.) helped create the standard for what a regional tournament should be. Besides those he has directed major events in places as far flung as Costa Rica and Greece. Anyone lucky enough to have attended either Costa Rican tournament lists it among their personal favorites.

Those who choose to skip Bill's tournaments have done themselves no favor.
