Crisloid and Svilo boards

I have a medium sized Crisloid board. I don't like the cork surface - dice don't roll and tumble well and checkers don't slide real well. But I use it sometimes because it fits in my motorcycle.

I've also a Svilo board that I paid $300 US for. It sits in the closet gathering dust. Its surface is so thick and slow it is easier to pick up the checkers to move rather than attempt to slide them.
