Good question. I am not sure Backgammon will ever make it on television....so far, only Poker has done much there, and as you know, they are successful because of all the money involved, editing, and the ability to see each player's hand, and commentary.

Backgammon is fun to watch on the internet, so why not TV with some of the same elements some day? Shorter, more exciting matches, simultaenously showing XG's opinion of each move and expert commentary...who knows?

Televised or not, at least we know it will be streamed.
