Position 1 -- 13-5, although Neil's play seems OK.

In Position 2, I would have gone for the double hit. Blue doesn't always come in with two; there's another blot to pick up, and blue will not have many in the zone. Seems better than a speculative backgame that could crash. And the backgame is still a possibility, of course.

On position 4, I thought the issue was whether white could take, and concluded yes, given the 4 big misses and assorted residual vig. Still seems like a double, although I wouldn't bet against Neil.

Agree w/ Neil on 3 and 5.
