Any problems running Snowie 4 or GNU with Vista ?

Does anything work in Vista? Isn't it the new ME? All I have heard is nightmare stories, although my partner has one pc and his laptop with it on and it hasn't given him grief yet (had it since it came out; he's a geek so gets free whatevers when he takes the courses on the new OS). Well, other than it's not compatible with half his programs so he had to muck around for weeks sometimes to get them to work just right...

He really dislikes XP and runs 2000 on everything else. I like XP fine other than I have never been able to get GNU to run right on it and finally gave up.

Oh, and Office is screwy now too...and 2000 was a better edition in my opinion than 2003 or 2007. Too bad nothing works except in the newer edition once you have used it. Not to mention webpages used to be included and are now frigging separate.

Ok, off my ranting soapbox.

'Tis the season to be jolly and all that stuff. :)

Note to Microsoft: If it ain't broke WHY the hell do you have to "fix" it???
