Over the board I would have played 8/5*, fighting for both 5pts and then cleaning up a blot (10/8) rather than stripping the midpoint and creating a new one (13/11). Looking at it here, in isolation, I prefer 13/10 6/4. This makes a new offensive point, and the blot on the 4pt nicely duplicates White's covers on the other side of the board. At worst I come away with a mutual holding game in which White has two checkers buried, but I have decent chances of doing better.
