We do live in the land of the free, but we protect our citizens from gambling, except of course, we do allow commodity trading, the stock market, lotteries, casinos, race tracks and off-track betting, buying and selling real estate as investments, and many other "safe" investments of the above nature.

Gambling on Backgammon has been determined to be far too risky since Falafel moved to the U.S.
