I almost always post my answer before reading anyone else's comments, so whether you have already posted usually doesn't make any difference to me. However in this case I stared at the problem long enough to realize that I must be missing something (i.e. how does one pay now?) and peeked at your answer. I hadn't even seen your play as an option - and at that point since I try to stick to "do your own work" in my responses declined to post an answer.

This is rare (that is, peeking at other responses, not failing to consider the best move which happens to me all the time) so post as early and as often as you like. And of course my prohibition on peeking at other responses is self-imposed - nobody else needs to follow it.
