Like Steve: Making the forth point here is obv. to me. I'm not afraid hanging around on 23 for a while, if we could get the attack going - particularly not when we have the barpoint, and black's counter attack is not stronger.

Making the point will win so many more gammons from here, and the forth point will be worth a lot in later exchanges as well. Also when we have made our ace it seems like a better strategy to fill up and go for a blitz, rather than hanging onto the priming potential of the 5-8 points.

But which point to make?

Again, when we're talking blitz and maximum attack, the 2 point is clearly the most aggressive move. The 3 point is a little bit safer leaving only a single outside blot. I'm really not sure which of these two to chose, I think it's very close. Probably I'd chose the deuce vs. a strong opponent and the 3 point vs. a weaker opponent.
