Slotting works very well whenever you are missed, and your opponent misses 21/36 almost 60%. But AtS, you never get to play any of those games. Whenever your opponent misses, she drops the cube you are about to offer. So you don't obtain much value from the slot - the only games you get to actually play are the 15/36 where you are hit.

So the moral of the story is don't slot an opening 21 when your opponent has a free drop.
