13/11 leads for game, gammon, backgammon but 24/23's equitie is higher, I dont understand this?

I think you meant, “6/5 leads for game, gammon, backgammon...” At any rate, this comment is based on that assumption.

The numbers you cite are cubeless. They give the numbers of games, gammons, and backgammons Blue would win if the game were played to completion from this point with no cube turns. In this game, however, there will be a cube turn. If Blue slots, and then White misses hitting the slotted checker, White can pass Blue’s cube, using his free drop, and then Blue will still have to win three consecutive games to win the match.

So, you can see, those cubeless numbers are really worthless.
