If you're playing with a cube then the cubeful values are the ones that matter. Often the difference is not large; the case of a free drop is an extreme case.

I've lobbied for a long time for the bots to have an option to display cubeful win/gammon/backgammon chances, but have so far been able to convince very few people. The BG community seems to prefer to muddle along with cubeless numbers only, and scratch its head every time there's a discrepancy between the cubeless and cubeful values.
