There are several possible choices for a clock, although you won't go wrong with the Game Time II, a popular choice among backgammon players.

Typical backgammon settings are 2 minutes of reserve time per point of a match (so for example 22 minutes of reserve time for an 11-point match) with a 12-second delay for each move.
